Dr. Peter Scherzer & Dr. Ruth Scherzer

These two retired professors are original Bucksters and generous supporters of ACK since its early days.

Ruth and Peter were drawn to ACK for its ability to directly allocate funds raised towards the “hands-on” comfort and support of children at the Hospital. They also appreciate that the all-volunteer Board of Directors operates with no administrative overhead other than a part-time bookkeeper; generating a big bang for every dollar raised.

It is supporters like Ruth and Peter who have made ACK the biggest community fundraiser for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
